Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga visas på Folkets hus bio 27 maj 2024 klockan 19.00

För över 30 år sedan skapade den Oscar-vinnande regissören George Miller den dystopiska världen i de framstående "Mad Max"-filmerna. Nu återvänder han med den efterlängtade "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga", ett fristående actionäventyr som avslöjar ursprunget till karaktären från den flerfaldigt Oscarbelönade globala succén "Mad Max: Fury Road".

Vi ser Anya Taylor-Joy i huvudrollen, tillsammans med Chris Hemsworth, Alyla Browne och Tom Burke.

Unga Furiosa rycks bort från "Många mödrars gröna plats" och faller i händerna på ett motorcykelgäng ledd av krigsherren Dementus. De sveper genom ödemarken och stöter på citadellet som leds av Evige Joe. Medan de två tyrannerna krigar om dominans måste Furiosa överleva många prövningar medan hon försöker ta sig tillbaka hem.

Den är både en spinoff och en prequel till Mad Max: Fury Road från 2015, och blir den femte delen i Mad Max-franchisen.
