Fritidsbanken -Sports and Outdoor Equipment Loan
Överkalix Municipality has opened a sports and outdoor equipment loan center where you can borrow various sports and outdoor gear. The loan center is located at Skolgatan 1.
All you need for fun and adventure
At the sports and outdoor equipment loan center you will find a range of gear, everything from ice skates, helmets, hockey sticks, football boots and balls to tents and thermos flasks.
You can borrow what you need for a period of 14 days and most equipment is available in a wide range of sizes. You will find us at Skolgatan 1.
Do you have any equipment you don’t need anymore?
If you have any sports or outdoor equipment that you no longer use we would be happy for your donation. We are happy to receive football boots, life jackets, balance boards, swimming fins, boule sets and almost anything else that can be used for outdoor fun and adventure.
Our operation is based on receiving donations of used equipment that we can loan to others free of charge. Our goal is to make it possible for everyone to enjoy active leisure time and good health.
We can collect donations of equipment in the central Överkalix area or you are welcome to leave them at Arbetsmarknadsenheten at Skolgatan 1.

The sports and outdoor equipment center is operated by the Labor Market Department at Överkalix Municipality.
