Christmas school holidays 2023
The Christmas holiday lasts between December 22, 2023 and January 10, 2024. In Överkalix, you can swim at public swimmingpool, go cross-country skiing, visit the library, skate in the ice rink or drive your a-tractor on the ice rink for free. The slope in Storlappberget is also open during the holiday for downhill skiing and snowboards, lift tickets and coffee can be bought on site.
The cross-country skiing trails on Storlappberget open every day, the lighting of the ski trails is turned off at 10 p.m. every day and the changing rooms are locked at 9 p.m. every day. Storlappberget ski resort, just north of the exit to Överkalix along road E10, turn left at the crossroads signposted Talljärv and Rullskidbana. After about 900 metres, turn left following the signposted road. That road takes you to the ski resort.
