Who is eligible to study SFI?

Course Start SFI

Currently, we have continuous admissions throughout the year. It is important that you submit an application for SFI. Contact the study and career counselor if you want to start studying SFI.

SFI classes are held in the BIC building on the school campus. Address: Skolgatan 2, Överkalix.

How long is the education?

The duration is individual and depends on, among other things, your educational background, your prior knowledge, and your goals.

Which group should I study in?

SFI consists of three different study paths: 1, 2, and 3, as well as four different courses: A, B, C, and D. The different study paths are aimed at people with different backgrounds, conditions, and goals.

  • Study Path 1 is for those who have not attended school or have only attended a few years and consists of courses A, B, C, and D.
  • Study Path 2 is for those who have completed primary school or have an unfinished secondary education, and consists of courses B, C, and D.
  • Study Path 3 is for those with good study habits and the ability to work independently, and consists of courses C and D.

When you complete a course, you will receive a grade based on how you have met the various knowledge requirements of the course.
